Anxiety is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear, that can be mild or severe. Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life - it is a natural human response. However, sometimes feeling anxious can become overwhelming. Feelings of anxiety become more constant and can begin to affect daily life, in such ways as panic attacks or phobias. Counselling works by developing ways to manage and lessen your anxiety by deepening your self awareness.
